Experience the total solar eclipse from one of the most spectacular and iconic locations in Ibiza.
On August 12th, 2026, the sky over Ibiza will host one of the most breathtaking natural phenomena on Earth: a total solar eclipse.
For a few extraordinary moments, the Moon will perfectly align between the Earth and the Sun, completely covering it. Daylight will turn into an eerie twilight, the light will shift dramatically, temperatures will drop, and the stunning solar corona will become visible, something that can only be seen during totality.
Millions of people will travel to position themselves within the narrow path where this phenomenon can be observed. We will experience it from a truly exceptional location: in front of Es VedrĂ .
Rising more than 380 meters above the Mediterranean Sea, Es Vedrà is one of Ibiza’s most iconic landscapes. Surrounded by myths and legends, it has fascinated visitors for centuries. Watching the sky darken while the silhouette of Es Vedrà dominates the horizon will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience.
Due to the eclipse, local authorities expect a massive influx of visitors, as well as road closures, traffic restrictions, and significant congestion affecting roads and taxis.
That’s why we have designed a special experience so you can enjoy the eclipse without worrying about logistics.
We will meet in Ibiza Town, where the adventure begins aboard our classic Land Rover Defender Safari. From there, we will head towards the starting point of one of our most spectacular hiking routes.
The trail crosses Mediterranean forests and natural paths before gradually opening up towards the coastline. As we move forward, the views over the Mediterranean become increasingly impressive, and the silhouette of Es VedrĂ begins to dominate the landscape.
The route continues down to a small wild cove hidden between cliffs, one of those untouched corners that preserve the true essence of Ibiza. From there, we will begin the ascent to the highest part of the cliffs. This is the most demanding section of the hike, but the effort is absolutely worth it.
At the viewpoint, we will enjoy privileged views over Es VedrĂ and the Mediterranean, the perfect setting to wait for the main event.
Slowly, the light will begin to change. The atmosphere will transform completely, and during totality, the Sun will disappear behind the Moon while the spectacular solar corona appears. Witnessing this phenomenon with Es VedrĂ in front of us will turn those minutes into a lifelong memory.
After the eclipse, we will begin our return journey as the evening falls over the Mediterranean, closing an unforgettable day.
